Post Oracle MDM (Meter Data Management) 2.2 upgrade, when you configure your Message Sender (in good old days also known as “XAI Sender”) with an HTTP Transport Method as Send only then you will get an error back stating HTTP 202. This error can be visible in the log tab of the activity screen in the MDM Application.
The above HTTP202 error does not mean that your activity received an error response, ideally, it should not receive any response because the message sender says Send only. Hence, this error can be ignored. Having said that this error is logged into your server log, front end application screen, and back end database.
This is an existing bug with Oracle MDM 2.2 and the solution or patch is yet to be released.
Meanwhile, you can modify your activity or outbound logic in case your message sender is configured as send only and you receive http202 error then ignore it and proceed ahead with the next logical flow.
